Dague de chaman Yao

 

Lame de 26 cm à double tranchant et arète médiane. Longue soie servant de poignée, terminée par un anneau torsadé avec sept petits anneaux destinés à faire du bruit.

Métal avec oxydation de surface formant une patine brune par endroit. Longueur totale 43 cm.

Epées ou dague rituelle utilisée dans les cérémonies chamaniques des Yao, peuple résidant en Chine, Laos et Thaïlande.

Fin de l'époque Ming, début XVIIème Siècle.

Les sept anneaux représentent la Grande Ourse qui régit la vie des hommes dans la cosmogonie Taoiste.

Vendu avec son certificat d'identification et d'origine daté de 2010.
