A collector since childhood, I made my passion my job.
In 2008, I quit my job and set up as a second-hand bookseller in Pressins in Isère. From that time on, I would unpack every Sunday at the Puces du Canal in Lyon. I quickly changed my business. I closed my physical store to focus on online sales of military objects and historical souvenirs on marketplaces.
I also come to meet you at various fairs in the Rhône-Alpes region. I am located in the center of a triangle formed by Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry, which allows me to travel around several departments in the area. But I also come to Normandy during the commemorations of the landing and twice a year to Ciney in Belgium. And of course, I am at the Puces du Canal almost every other Sunday of the year (location 559).
Online sales remain my main distribution channel. I ship all over the world. It then becomes obvious and even essential to have my own website.
chezpakane.com was born in March 2016.
Why "chez Pakane"? I have a little brother who, all annoyed, could not say Pierre-Antoine and called me Pakane. It has remained my nickname even if few people use it today.
